CHRIS FORD
Gym Manager, Kids Martial Arts, Boxing, Female Fitness, Personal Training

Chris started training in ITF Taekwondo at the age of 12, obtained his Black belt at 16 and his 2nd degree Black belt at 19.  Soon after, he started his apprenticeship to become a full time instructor. He has competed all over the world, representing both ITF Scotland and Team UK. He has won numerous Scottish and British titles in both ITF Taekwondo and WKO kickboxing, and was ranked 4th in the world in the ITF World Championships in Canada.


Chris holds level 2 and 3 in fitness and has completed workshops in kettlebell training, pad holding and kid’s specific training. He runs our female classes, Little Nippers, Kicking Kids and Teen stand up classes.


Chris likes a challenge and is great to train with, whether you’re new to fitness or a professional. He's available for personal training (all ages) and group sessions, with specific training in Boxing, Kickboxing and Traditional martial arts (ITF Taekwondo).

JASON SUE
Muay Thai, Boxing, Strength and Conditioning Coach

Jason has over 20 years of experience in martial arts and the fitness industry. A keen enthusiast of Muay Thai, Jason’s passion for the national sport of Thailand began while studying at university in New Zealand and has continued ever since. Jason joined Malvern Martial Arts in 1998- first as a member, fighting for the gym and capturing a State Title in the process.


Jason takes the popular Fitness Boxing and the Muay Thai program here at Malvern Martial Arts. As a former fighter, Jason knows what it takes to get ready to step into the ring, but these days he dedicates his time helping members and clients achieve their fitness goals.


Qualified with Certificates 3 and 4 in Gym Coaching and Personal Training, he brings a wealth of knowledge and an enquiring mind when it comes to assisting his clients.

CHRIS ALYSANDRATOS
Kickboxing, Boxing, Female Fitness, Personal Training

Chris teaches our Kickboxing and Bag Attack classes at Malvern Health and Fitness. He has more than 20 years of experience and has trained with the best in the industry.


He is a licensed professional boxing, kickboxing and Combat Sports Trainer, He holds a certificate IV in personal training, and is a great strength & conditioning coach.


From personal training session, groups sessions Chris is able to make sure you get the most out of your workouts.

RALPH LOWE
BJJ, MMA, Personal Training

Ralph started martial arts with Wing Chun as a teenager. He obtained his black sash, and competed in full contact sanshou tournaments in the 90s. He started BJJ in 2000, and competed in Pan-Pacific and Victorian championships as a pesado and then super-pesado, winning medals numerous times.

Ralph has taught BJJ and MMA for the last eight years. His decade of experience working as a bouncer on King St is also used as a basis for practical self defence classes.

Ralph is a qualified teacher, bringing innovative approaches to teaching martial arts. He runs our BJJ program and is available for technical personal training.
